Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
Do ALL visits that you can supervised or not.
Be relentlessly positive when you see your kids. Don't ask about their mother. Listen, follow their lead and just BE with them.
Kids (mostly) learn to see the truth as they grow up.
If you did do x then its acceptance time and get support to stop that
So my personal plan of action would be to always go to every meeting to see your kids, once there never say anything bad about the other parent, and focus on forming as much good time with your kids as possible. Do you know I formed more of an attachment and love for a therapist I saw for an hour a week than love for my own parents!? So I know you can form a bond with them or maintain it.
Do a course on play therapy, great fun and so interesting to see how kids think through play and learn to communicate with them through this medium.
Don't give up hope yet xxx the government once involved sux so bad. But from what I see they like you to do what they prescribe (parenting courses), never moan about anyone on the team to them or your ex or the courts, especially don't (splitting) think some are ok and some are bad based on their v attitudes and treatment b of you.
Go to the groups and be friendly to everyone, hopefully get reports after your course that you completed it and were nice. Make sure your home is clean and maintained
I seen someone get their one kid back from the gates of adoption from taking this advice
Always be extremely polite over text to your ex, hopefully she'll look unreasonable by stopping your court ordered visits.
If she cancels calmly state she is going against the courts wishes and letting the kids down. Then accept it
You'll soon have evidence that your being done wrong by and the courts will support you.
Geez I dunno if I'd be half tempted to call the police on her one day if she's doing it in lies to slander you, see how she likes it. She got a personality disorder or something?
Women and men can be well spiteful after a split up, happened to my cousin and the pain he endured. I think he mostly in the end got a new partner and had kids with her.
But I think if you both convince the courts that your both bad then it ll be foster care and adoption huh!!! So at least you didn't convince them that she was bad huh, and
My other cousin did finally manage to convince the courts he was the abuser after he hospitalised his new partner... But he had custody for a couple of years we can him ray charming because he's a total bastard yet people like him or think good of him despite kicking pregnant women in bellies getting two women pregnant at same time running up huge debts beating his wife in front of young kids etc
Try to start a family with someone else? Keep all the evidence their mum stopped the contract so when they come to you as adults you can prove it was their mum and be reunited
Keep sharing, can totally understand giving up this is hard painful stuff to cope with long term
