I thought I was moving forward with life :(

It is almost 6 months since we seperated and I thought I was moving forward. I try to stay positive and always try to look at the bright side of things. For some reason the past month has been unbearable. I cant stop thinking about how she went about with break up. I can't stop thinking about all the memories we had because we were a little beautiful family.My 5 year old daughter knows we don't live together anymore and I know she may be confused.I know I have to look forward and stop dwelling too much on the past, but it can get really tough and lonely.It is true what the song says "when a heart breaks, it don't break even" I know she may be suffering also, but not like I am. She seems so happy and content with her new life. I know she was seeing a co-worker and I'm positive they're still seeing each other. She says she's not and I should to stop getting in to her personal life.I hate this feeling of hoplessness.I want to be that happy person I once was and be there for my daughter.I can't seem to let go of the past yet........ :(

Richy, make some friends and spend a lot of time with your family. You lost your wife but you still have others who really care about you. Hang in there through the pain. Keep crying it out. Women can really break a man's heart but keep your faith and hope alive because you are meant to have a good life.

Please call someone and go visit them today, OK?

Memories are all good, and will be. But they are the past, so for those moments in time, everything was as you saw it. That time has long since passed though. People change, time passes, and the feelings and promises made back then don't mean shit now.

She probably is seeing a co-worker, but she's correct in the fact that it isn't any of your business. Your concern should be to yourself, and your daughter. It's a hard lesson to learn, but if you love her, and want her to be happy, you aren't necessarily going to be the one she keeps choosing to make that happen.

@faithful777 Yeah I have friends and family that are here for me. My main goal now is to meet new people and put myself out there.For some reason I find it really hard due to the fact that I feel lost and I'm trying to find myself. IT was about 2 months ago when I felt like I was moving forward. She obviously noticed and we eventually hooked up. We both cried and said everything is so crazy and overwhelming.That actually brought me back down again and she seems to be doing perfectly fine. I know I have to work on myself and stay active, but it is so tough at times..Thanks for your kind words
@Dumped I've been here a few weeks and I've seen some of your responces. You seem wise and tend to give blunt advice. Some people may take it the wrong way because there looking to be comforted due to their vulnerability. I respect it though because chances are that it is the truth, but sometimes excepting reality is the hardest part.Thanks

Yeah. Sometimes I forget that. (People are reeling). Doesn't mean I don't empathize, but I try to cut through the drama, and get to the facts. I have been both the cause of suffering, and had some damage inflicted upon me, in that, I try to look at issues from all sides, not just the favorable ones.

richy, some men never have kids. but you have a little daughter. make a home with her. make friends. stick close to your family. find work that you really like. get good at managing money. let yourself be a good man. life can be great if we get the basics right. :)

If you can find just one thing per day that will make you smile, it will help. The hardet part of a breakup is not knowing. Trust me- I'm obsessed with it. It almost a second job for me and not a healthy one.
