Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
However, if you're concerned that this might make things more difficult for you going forward, you can always send a follow up. Something more neutral, that explains without apologizing. I would like for this to be as amicable as possible, and will do my part to try and keep things moving smoothly. I hope that we can continue to work together on this.'

It sounds like he needs to take a step back and calm down, too. Nothing will be decided today, so let yourself breathe and process before you worry about what will happen going forward. You've got this!

In the other thread, it was pointed out to you that what he does with whoever, should be none of your business vice versa. Now I know some people struggle with this, but the more you focus on the matter at hand as opposed to the distractions, the better.
Imagine you go to court and start bringing up the other woman, his lawyer and the Judge will only have to tell you once that it's irrelevant to the case, and the more you go on, the more the judge will get pissed off at you and see you as the irrational one.
I tried to reason with my ex by asking to sit down and come up with a separation agreement at the time, but her friends were telling her otherwise. I had her served and it was only then that things got moving. In the end, she ended up with less than I had offered at the start.
We never did go to trial....but went through the family court stages and stopped short before trial when she came to her senses.
A good lawyer or argument will convince the judge that another house can be had
