This guy, for 4 years has taken up my time, and my life, and he really does not want what i want, every time i break up with him, thats when he starts wanting to see me and call me. Just when i think things are better he does the same thing again. so many times now, i'm so sick of it. I have to resist him this time for good, and i'm afraid i'll cave in, but in my heart i dont want to, i dont want him anymore, he ruined my feelings, and when we do well is when he starts forgetting i exist, this time for instance, i hadn't seen him for days, he managed to call a few time, to say absolutely nothing real. Just so I wouldn't get mad he didnt call at all really. So it was six days, didnt see him, before that saw him every day for a week, which all seemed good, but he always ruins it by retreating. He was supposed to see me last night, Christmas Eve, so he called me at 9:30pm, said he fell asleep and just woke up and he guesses he'll see me tomorrow. I told him this is the 3rd time since i saw you last you were supposed to see me and didn't because of what? He gives no answer. So i felt so fed up, i just "You know what, I get it, Merry Christmas dude!" and i hung up on him. Dont want to see or hear from him, i really want to move on. But here comes the hard part, i know the scenerio so well, by tomorrow, maybe tonight real late he will call, and say "How ya doin?"
like he hasn't done anything. And i'll say fine. "He will say i was going to come see you but i didnt think you wanted to because of how you talked to me" See this way he can blame me for the fallout. He is so predictable. So instead of caving in, i'm going to just tell him "My idea of a relationship is too different from yours, so i'm going to move on, and i appreciate it if you would not call, or contact me anymore because I'm really done playing your games. " And dont even try to hear a response, just hang up after i say it and forget it, move on. Or i could just never answer the phone, and cut it off without saying anything. I would like some input from anyone, which is the best way to handle it? Because he only wants me when i dont want him anymmore. then he goes around wanting everyone to feel sorry for him, he pouts and walks around with his head down, but up till the breakup he is mr tough guy. I'm sick of it. Dont want to deal anymore. I appreciate any help or suggestiong, or whatever if you have advice.

I guess how you end it is up to you. Sometimes we think we just need to tell them, but ti is really only cus we want to talk to them to get a response. I dont think this will do you much good.
If it was me, and I really wanted to end it, I wouldnt even pick up the phone or entertain any contact with this person. but thats just me and based on what I want out of a relationship, I wouldnt think someone who treated me like this, wants the same thing.
