Be strong, not weak or nasty, be composed surprise him, thank him for the huge favour he has just delivered to you, shock the socks off him, he may have second thoughts, and if so, you end it.

He always knocks you down, definitely not the behaviour of someone who supposedly loves someone. He is playing games with your feelings, how evil of him. You are passive darling, that's how he knows he can get away with murder with you, he is a skunk, rid him from your life immediately because unless you change he never will.
