Ever have one of those times where you just need the comfort and support of friends and family?
I was doing really good until yesterday. I had moved on with my life, gotten a new job, and totally fixed a lot of problems that I had. Finally I was able to get off of some medications that I was on for depression and anxiety and I was doing great.
The place I use to live has a strong undercurrent and it is like quicksand. Seldom do you get out of it and when you do it tries to drag you back in. Yesterday, I was drug back in to the mess.
I can't get into specifics in this as it is on-going. It is not criminal in nature which is good, but it can effect my life.
Today I am a little concerned on how this will effect my life. I am really mad at a local news media for printing a very irresponsible article that could have a drastic effect on my life even though it was not factually written (only based off a written complaint from a guy who was arrested for something). Unbelievable!
Anyway, I am just depressed that this whole thing has come back to bite me in the ass. I have tried to leave that part of my life behind me but it has now come looking for me again. In the end, hopefully the truth will prevail, but one never knows how things will go in this skewed society.

I really sucks when they print lies on page 1 and a retraction a month later on page 9.
Been there, done that, burned the paper. Wanted to burn the paper to the ground but have more self control than that.
