The season is changing. Just as it did when we met. Warm nights become cool. The scent of the breeze takes me back to when we met. I’m saddened that after all the energy spent on things, I’m walking away with nothing.  Yes, I’m no longer wasting that energy but there never really was much that compared to loving you. I’m slowly forgetting you. While the scent of your perfume escapes me, the taste of your lips still linger. I recall the comfort of your arms but I can no longer remember their strength. I no longer see you face in strangers and The world begins to seem pretty lonely. I often think of things to say to you. At times I say the aloud. Imagining your responses, I break down.
