Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
i dont think my ex is better off without me in his life - i think he is still a miserable person inside - but thats not really a consolation prize to me.

There is one thing that can be done to ease some of your pain--minor distractions. I'm not saying do whatever you can to forget about her, but do what you can to distract yourself until you are in a healthier place to be able to deal with the overwhelming feelings you are having now. Too much pain, is just that--too much. You can't allow yourself to be consumed by this.
Take some time for yourself to lift your soul until you can adequately deal with all these feelings.
Hang in there. You are doing quite well considering what has transpired!
I'd like you to consider this one stamenet you made:
"I don't want to allow her to hurt us anymore"
In reality she can't hurt you anymore. Only you can. I'm not trying to be too stern here, but this is an important concept to wrap your mind around. Only you can truly inflict pain on yourself.
I'm not saying it's easy to come to believe this, but when we do, everything changes.
Stay focused on the positives in your life - - your kids and your business.
It will take time - you will get thru it.
I'll keep you in my prayers.
Everyone is so supportive and it has helped me so much! I will keep to the No Contact and pray that each day gets just a little bit better...

Once someone has cheated on a good person, they are always haunted by that sin.
I did everything I could for ex and still she cheated on me.
God or Karma or the Universe, what comes around goes around.
I'm not going to lie...you are at the epicenter of suckitude....but it does get easier.
I am praying for us all...
Jim
