Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
.....I think you do have the right idea with your counseling....and with his (or her) help maybe you can begin to heal, but also fill that void with what I am finally discovering we all need first. You need to discover who you are, what you want and need and finally come to realize you deserve all of that.
The fact that she could not give you that for more than a few days tells me she feels just as insecure herself. Hang in there....keep sharing and opening up to others and keep on with your counseling. It will eventually get better.
I also think that she was the first relationship I had when I relocated to myrtle beach. She showed me everything and took me everywhere.
I don't feel whole. I feel like my heart and my soul are bleeding. I can't picture her with someone else. (We've said this to each other so many times).
Thank YOU for your replies. They really help me alot
I can relate so well. She was my best friend. We talked all day and laughed all night. Now I can't imagine her sleeping with someone else. And I know that someday I'm going to be waking up next to someone else, and thinking to myself I'm waking up with the wrong person. I don't know if it's just because I can't control the situation that makes me feel this way? And I can't make her love me the way she used to love me. And the thoughts of never growing old with her.
His love came with conditions, if I stood up for my kids father at all he looked at it like i was putting their father above him. He wanted me to hate their dad and I do not. We get along great. My heads still spinning because when he did throw us out he always came back saying how much he loved me and wanted me but that I couldn't give him all of me... he just left the door open so that when it didn't work out with his new girlfriend he could come back to me. I feel like I've been played a fool: how could all that attention have been fake!?
Have more sense
Give the kid respect
Whether he respects you or not
I hope she does come back, but I hope she does when you’ve both worked through the problems you’ve described and you can begin again in a healthy and happy lifestyle! I will pray for you both, hang in there, it’s a long road, but it will definitely be worth it.
