The hardest part is that we have a 2 year old daughter. We've been together 7 years. i'm seeing signs that he may be cheating. he shuts his phone off around me, he has a "bestie" that he works with and everyone they work with think they're together. This so-called bestie is pregnant. She has a bf but not happy, blah blah. All i want is my baby girl to stop seeing our arguing and crying when we do. Once she was born our arguing got worse. I haven't been happy for the past 5 years. I'd like to be happy, i'd like for my daughter to see that it's not acceptable for men to treat women as if they're a thing and not a person. He doesn't talk to me and when he does it's purely negative. I can't have a heart to heart conversation with him. I'm just so sick. Sick of it all.
I'm glad to hear you care about the example you want to set for your daughter. I was married for 26 years and left a cheating husband. I have a friend who will not leave her husband, even though he continues to cheat. Her adult daughters are disgusted with her. My adult daughter told me she didn't want me to be with her dad any longer. You're a good mother and while you're going to have a tuff road ahead, you will come out stronger on the other side and so proud of yourself in the end. If you stay with a cheater, you will not like yourself. It will eat you alive.
