It's been a little over a month since my wife of 10 years, dedided she didn't want to be married to me anymore. I don't think anyone in my situation feels any worse than me. But, with that being said, I'm not coming out of this experience empty handed. In fact, I think I have actually become a little bit stronger throughout this process. Just yesterday, I was able to lift my car over my head. That's pretty strong, isn't it?...just kidding.

LOL Having a sense of humor does help. So superman hang in there. Divorce is a bitch and she is one mean lady. But you will survive, you will be amazed sometimes when you look back and see how much you have grown. Now dear put down that car.

When I booted the ex out ... there was such a "load off" me, I felt I could run a marathon ... well, at least drive one ... but I'm working up to being able to "bike it" ... ;) :P

You have a good sense of humour Dude, it will keep you going I promise. i wish I had such a sense of humour so early in my divorce, it would have speeded up my healing.

Only now after 4 mnths can I smile and laugh a bit.

That's a great attitude.

I swear I have learned more about myself in the last year, than in the previous 10.

And that is over and above my recent discovery that I don't like dijon mustard.

I am pretty sure that right now, I am the best "me" I have ever been.

If only I could have know then what I know now.
Oh well.

I can honestly say that being here, with you people, has given me something that I have never had before. It's given me some kind of inner strength and I thank ALL of you for the gift. With that being said, it still hurts like hell. But, at least I don't feel like I'm carrying the load by myself. I'll be back. I'm going to try and lift my house off the ground today...
