Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
You're warping your anger around to hurt the person already hurt. Go to the gym and punch something. :)
You hate YOURSELF for picking him and allowing him to hurt you.
The thing is, you're not ugly. Steve Buscemi is "ugly"... hasn't stopped him, has it?
You're being played for sex because that is what you're picking. You don't have to be good enough for them, you have to be good enough for you, then men will come to you (trust me, I'm a man :D We feel attracted to basically any woman who is certain of herself).
It is going to be very hard work, but you need to get yourself to a position in which you can stand for yourself and not beg for love or sex or affection from anybody. You need to be enough!
Don't let anyone define your worth, and don't bully yourself into thinking you're not enough. You have to be! Make yourself into enough! Fall in love with yourself. Your looks are irrelevant (and I'm sure they're not as "bad" as you're saying anyway, they never are).
Work on yourself and yourself only, not on getting men. Spend a few months with just yourself, but working, making you into the woman you want to be. Learn to talk like you want to talk. Learn to act like you want to act and react like you want to react. Then you won't even need men, but they'll come anyway ;-)
You need to be whole as an individual. Love yourself, be ok as yourself. If not, repair yourself, learn what you need to do to make yourself happy. Therapy will help for sure. Having a relationship just to fill a void you have will always end in failure. You'll keep making the same mistakes.
If you repair that void or that need to have someone just to make you whole...you will be better off in your next relationship. You may recognize the red flags in people to avoid the same mistakes.
