Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
Obviously I don’t know the situation between you and your mom or your job situation but with a clear mind try to come up with some plans that could help you out of this situation. You could always look into assistance programs. You may be able to temporarily get help with housing and a job.
You mentioned wanting to move closer to your dad’s family do you have a close family member you can borrow money from? I personally don’t like to have to borrow money from others but I have been in a few situations where I have needed to. I presented my problem to the person, told them my plan to fix it and how and when I planned to repay them.
It’ll take time regardless of what your plan ends up being but remind yourself that this is just a temporary rough patch. Making plans in times of rough patches and even crisis’ help calm me and if I just follow this path I’ll reach that light at the end of the tunnel. Keep your chin up and try to think positive thoughts. Don’t let the weight of your problems weigh you down. You can do anything you put your mind to. I truly and firmly believe that!
First step...get a job, any job. You don't have to like it...you just have to be able to get there and back home.
Worry about everything else later.
