The woman I love more than anything in the world told me she wanted to be apart for a little while I know I shouldn't feel this way but we've been together since sophomore year of high school that's 4 years she made me happier than anyone or anything ever has she was perfect for me she was there when nobody else was I nearly ended my life before I met her and now that I don't have her I almost did it again my heart hurts everyday I cry now as I'm writing this I pray to God everyday just to give me another chance I love her more than I love myself I would do anything just to see her happy we still talk everyday and she still loves me and wants to be with me but that doesn't stop my pain

its time to refocus on you, apply distancing (180) and allow her to see the reinvigorated you and it allows you to draw attention from her. healing takes time my friend

I definitely have begun to work on improving myself to show her that I am capable of being better than I was before I have become a man of faith and I believe that time will pull us back together we never stopped loving or caring about each other she wants her space to work on herself as well

If she loved you and wanted to be with you then she would be..she's trying to let you down easier I'm sure she doesn't want to hurt you or see you hurt. NEVER hurt yourself over someone else, you have to find your own happiness within or you're always going to have this issue. Improve yourself so you have more confidence either through therapy, exercise or possible consult with a physician for some mild anti depressants or whatever they feel is required short term to get you over the breakup. I was prescribed Xanax early on for a while and it really helped take the edge off and helped me sleep

I know this is not what you want to hear but it really is true...if you love someone set them free, if it is to be they will comeback...remember time really does give clarity as each moment passes. Think about this a few times until you really understand it. It will get better for both of you if you just trust the universe to do what is best. Good luck

That's what I've done I told her I won't beg for her to come back she said she does still miss being with me and loves me and with time we can be together again it'll just be about timing until then we still talk as friends but we still have that attraction and flirting so I'm going to fix myself and become a better man so it'll make her see I'm capable of evolving into a better guy but truly thank you everyone for the advice

be careful not to fall into the best friend and no more role, its ok to do so to rebuild, but work on the spark as well by subtly reflecting on good memories and more importantly show how you want a new relationship redefined by the new you's (new word - lol). positive change, both heals and raises curiosity of your changes in your spouse. they need to know you've changed and the only way to do that is through actions, not words. the hardest part in it all is not being afraid to let them go, i know i know, I'm not saying give up, but they need to know you're not simply the backup plan

If she broke things off with you talking to her everyday is just causing you more pain, either you guys are together or your not. Being drug along will make it nearly impossible to move on. You have to focus on you, you have to learn to love you for who you are and not find your value in a relationship. When you get to that point you will be in a place that you can be a good man in a relationship. As you said in one of your later comments that may show her your ready to be a better person for her. if you want the chance of reconciliation you need to understand why she left and whether you can show (not tell) her those changes in you. but make changes for you as you always need to remain true to you. All too often people believe that there is never a chance to rebuild, it can be done, but its not easy and its not guaranteed. short term changes will put you right back in the same situation only further frustrated. it begins with distancing yourself while you work on you, for you, stop pursuing, stop fighting, begging or pleading
