Well guys it has been exactly 2 months since the love of my life my fiance left me for another guy. Well I finally got my ring back. Getting it back has set me way back in my healing progress. I was expecting a letter explaining the reason why she left. None. Just a ring in a box. Wow how cold but not all cold. She did return it after all, even though it took her over 60 days to do so. All the memories good and bad mostly the good ones came crashing back into my mind. So yeah today is extremely hard. I just wish I knew the reason why she left but it is not important. I wish us all here peace and love. I know that all things will work itself out. God has a plan for us all. Just wish he send me a good one next time. hahahaha. Good luck to us all in this time of heart break. I know I really need it the most. Well that may not be true, but I still really need it.

I have been common law married for 23 years and I plan on keeping my ring not sure what I will do with it and wonder what he will do with his.... sigh...

I hope a good one comes all our ways!!!

Glad you received the ring back. I would suggest getting rid of it now as you don't need it sitting around as a reminder. You already know why she left (for another man). This says absolutely nothing about you but shouts volumes about her character. You deserve someone better than what she had to offer. I know it doesn't seem like it now...but you dodged a bullet. Better that you see the true her before getting married and having children!

Hope this is a step forward in your healing!

I am glad you finally got the ring back. Now sell it asap and do something awesome for yourself. I took mine off. Maybe I will melt it down in a few years and make a nice ring for my daughter. My husband actually lost his ring. How very convenient. Oh well. I am glad you can have some closure now. You no longer need to contact her for anything. Block her from your life.

I am keeping my ring but not wearing it since he went to hook up with OW on our anniversary. It will likely be pawned to help with lawyer fees eventually. I am glad she sent it back. I agree with doing something for yourself.

Right now your wounded heart will knee-jerk react and appear to turn anything into a setback in healing. I'm sure the fact you will no longer be agonizing over the ring will actually help you make signifinificant progress along the path to healing. I'm so glad you got it because I'd expected it was gone forever. Praying for strength and peace for you, my friend.
