I gave 100% at times... at the end I was only giving 50%... I think it's normal to stop giving so much when you know that 100% isn't even good enough.

I gave more than I should have and toward the end, couldn't give what I wanted to. It helps if you're getting what you need in the first place.

when I was married...I gave 80% at the start...he gave 5%....by the end, I was only giving maybe 2%....it was a crappy situation...

So comlex. Start with 100, then who knows where ends up. I try to go back to 100 if see I dropped, not only in marriage so to speak, because, stupid saying: do your best, may flip someones mind to not working at it.

in my humble opinion you gave more then 70% as far as getting up, going to work, taking out the trash, cleaning the gutters, etc.

the EMOTIONAL side of things.. i'd say you are about right with the 23%.

i guess it is about balance and finding that clutch point.
