It may not feel like it, but this is not the last time you will fall in and out of love. The process of divorce is kind of like a death in it's self. I am going through my second divorce and even though I am not ready to love someone else yet, I this has happened to me before and I expect I will fall in love again at the right time.
My husband cheated on me too. At first it was hard to understand why, but later I stopped blaming myself and realized it was his problem. I was perfectly okay the way I was. I gave everything to him too, but in the end I found out that he was a manipulative liar. Please don't feel you are alone in this. We are all here to support each other.
NOTHING in life is worth giving up your life, you will move past this and come out in a better spot in the end, with or without him, I promise. Your so young, you have so much ahead of you. They say everything in life happens for a reason, honey it does. Something better is out there waiting for you. Its not YOU that's worthless, its he with the insecurities. You deserve better and will find it, if you give yourself the chance.
Im 54, my husband, my world for 26 years cheated on me when I was 48. I have a severely disabled daughter, my world crashed, I felt all you describe. HE tried to commit suicide after I found out. It was a very rough month, but once I was able to think with a clearer mind, I realized where the problem was. It wasn't me, it was he.
We're still "married" in the word sense only, mainly because of our daughter, but I came out on top. He can no longer hurt me. I forced myself back into life. I found friends, while I had a problem with trust male/female, I soon learned the damage my husband was doing to me. I met one special friend, who happens to man a suicide hotline ( not how we met ) I don't know why I let my guard down with him...he made it easy. He talked me back to life and made me see I was capable of being loved. While I still have the "husband" dilemma I found pure love in a complete stranger. The right people will be put in your life, to help you see though, be willing to except them.
Please seek help. It will get better. I was married for 27 before I got divorced. My ex cheated on me as well. He is living with the other woman now. That took a little while to get used to but I realize I'm better off without him now. I've been divorced since January 2014 and I have a lot of hope that is someone out there worth loving again that will be better than my ex. Someone who will love, respect and cherish me and I'm a lot older than you.
I have faith there is someone out there for you. You just have to heal but that will happen with time.
