Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
I can give you a few places depending on what kind of dining experience you are looking for, (ie. casual, authentic, italian, steak, pizza, etc.) let me know and I'll shoot you are list.
ChiTown - definitely Italian for our group dinner but also if you know of any cool wine bar or tapas place that would be great for the nights my girlfriend are going to be in town.
This trip will actually be my first human interaction since my separeration... Well besides seeing my therapist once a week!
Yes, I'm home but not entirely alone...
I'm hanging with my bedpartners. Daisy, Peanut and Wayne are keeping me company. Cooking a nice meal for one and watching a couple of movies. Oh yea! Can't forget the Ben and Jerry's :)
Better days are coming but I am trying to enjoy tonight :)
Good for you cooking you a nice dinner. I succumbed to delivery.
My pups, my furry kids...Daisy is a papillon, Peanut is a Chihuahua mix and Wayne is pap and pom mix...Tons of personality in small animals. :)
Ahhh the sauteed onions and shrooms in a red wine reduction are ready...almost time to eat!
For Italian, you have to try Suparossa on Central. Family owned, best deep dish pizza and pasta dishes. Great wine. There is also Ginos East and Girodanos, but Suparossa is my #1.
For fun, one of my favorite places is Ed Debevics. Old style 50's diner with a rude waitstaff (on purpose), they dance every so often and have a live 50's Dj on Friday and Saturday nights. Have to get at least 1 green river drink if you go. Its an old fashioned soda fountain drink. :)
I know some little hot dog of italian Beef joints as well or other places.
