I have been NC for almost 3 months now. I'm trying hard to move on and not think of him and the new girlfriend.
So I guess there's still some mail going to his house. Nothing that concerns me. I've changed all the important stuff. But I get this text from him:
"Don't know if you forgot to transfer your value city account, but your bill is past due and I don't want you to get ridiculous fees or mess your credit up. I Don't need the furniture so I'm not paying for it. I bought others.. Also you have a pamphlet from Healthways Whole Health networks incorporate. I'll hold on to it for a couple days . "
It's really basic text, almost cold ...Meanwhile, I'm in tears and breaking down on the phone to my sister. For a message as simple as this, it is enough to send me reeling backwards. It just confirms that he's moved on without a problem and I'm still picking up the pieces.
I managed to only text back "Thanx. I've already taken care of it." But i'm dying inside and still clinging on to hope for every or any contact I get from him. I wasn't going to text anything at all but my sister thought that if I still said nothing, it would appear to him that I'm still upset. So I text him and hoped for a text back, perhaps asking about me. .. Never heard anything else..Hope just killed me.
Would any of you suggest putting him on block on my iphone? That way I will never receive text or phone calls and not be tempted with hope...? Or would you answer simply to his stupid messages to make it seem like you have moved on? I'm sure there may be more to come somewhere down the road... as I left very quickly and left him to deal with the junk that I didn't need. It's going on 3 months. I'm just trying to heal. I would suggest blocking him in everyway (phone, email,
Facebook, etc.) Going No Contact really is for the best. I truly could not start my healing process until I went totally NC.

flteach8 is right. If a man wants to be with you, he will find a way. Even if he can't reach you using technology. I imagine he knows where you live & work. Block him and give yourself the chance to heal.
