Can anyone recommend an aggressive divorce attorney in Tampa, FL. I'm almost sure I want to pursue a divorce, but I don't want to just pick out a lawyer from the yellow pages.

Sorry I can't suggest any but make sure you interview as many as possible before settling on one. Regardless, they are going to cost you too much money, they get rich on contravesary and your misery but a bad choice will slow everything down. My first divorce took 3 years because of an inept attorney. Best of luck.

Ask friends in your community who have gone through a divorce and ask them as many questions as you possibly can without prying into their personal affairs.

An aggressive attorney isn't always the best way to go because the divorce can go drag on forever.

Is your spouse wanting a divorce and who is he hiring? Gage who he hires by whom your spouse is hiring.

My attorney was not what I call a pit bull attorney. She had many years of experience and knew the law and was able to talk with the the ex attorney in a reasonable manner.

Two pitbull attorney does no one any good --- only the two attorneys will benefit with huge lawyer fees.

However, do hire the most competent attorney you can afford. That usually means an attorney with a good reputation and no newbies.
