Im back. Its been six years. This time its the fiance. He broke up with me. Im devestated. My heart aches. Its killing me. I know what I have to do. I know what the problem is, but that doesnt make the pain any less worse. You see, he is an alcoholic. Just recently, he has become combative and insulting. I understand he has problems in his life, (and that is a whole other story, too long to put here, now.) but why does he have to take them out on me? It hurts so bad. Any questions, I will answer, but right now, I have to go cook dinner. Just looking for some hugs, I guess.

He, like my ex, needs someone to blame, and you're it. As I'm sure you know, alcoholics are miserable and make everyone around them miserable. The problem with alcohol is that it doesn't solve their problems, it only teaches them how to swim. They don't realize it, though. They think it helps them.
Good for you recognizing what you have to do (even though it's heartbreaking).
Alcoholism is bad enough on its own to deal with. Once it becomes abusive, then it's time to cut ties.
Do you have a counselor or someone close to support you through this? Al anon has good resources too.

I still cant help myself from missing him. I love him so much. I have good days and bad days, and this was a bad day. But yes, he blames me for everything. Its all my fault. Plus, I dont dress right, I dont listen to the right kind of music and my children are not my priority. Some one told me all those things he said about me is how he really feels about himself.
Sorry, rambling here. I just need someone to talk to, and I do, but now I need someone to talk to.
It hurts. It sucks, and I ache all over.
