1) Your body will shut down on it's own and you'll sleep.
2) "Simply Sleep" is a product I used. Over the counter and it worked
3) Melatonin works well and is over the counter also.
4) I do not take sleep for granted like I used to after this crap
Finally when I just started accepting the situation for what it was, I started sleeping better.
As the saying goes, time heals all wounds.
Hang in there, my man.
Nyquil and vodka helps too.
Sleep is very important

Also, try not to worry about not sleeping. It will cause you more anxiety. Accept that it is part of this grieving process. Things will get better.
I find I'm sleeping better, but occasionally will have a bad night. When I do, I just log onto DS and chat for a while. Usually makes me feel better and I go back to sleep.
Peace and hugs.
Another thing you can do is sleep with the Tv on. Radio and Cd player. Plus you can change your sleeping arangement. Such as sleeping in the living room. Another bedroom. That helps me sleep too. Plus that is a trick I use when I am sick too. Just change up what you are used to. You be surprised how that might work for you too.
Good luck and hang in there, it will get better in time. It has for me and I am only on month number two.
