We have been separated for around 3 months, but pretty much separated since November in the same house. Since he's out and has his new place, he hasn't gone one day without texting. How am I suppose to heal?? I've turned in papers for our dissolution and waiting for the court date. When he was home he never texted me and all his texts were not ones he ever sent to me in the past....kind and sincere....NEVER had that kind of attention before we separated! I iniated the divorce after too many years of unresolavable issues- alcohol abuse was the biggest. Now says he would get help if he came back home....the word here is WOULD, not I HAVE BEEN getting help. I'm done with all of it, but I don't want to be mean since we have kids and we still have to appear in court. But I cannot heal as long as he continues texting me daily......when I don' hear from him I am relaxed, when I do I get very anxious. I don't want to be friends now, when I wasn't even treated as a wife before. The niceness is overwhelming and I don't get it....anyone else in this siutation? I am moving into my apartment in a few days and look forward to getting away from the place we once lived together. He even once sent us text perhaps he could take me on a date in the future?? Yes, after our life has been turned upside down, I want to do that.
