I am sorry to hear that your relationship ended. It is really hard. Especially when it is the father of your child and you are in love.
You are now a mom and it is a lot of pressure but we must use that pressure to get strong and make good choices. We can't fall apart...
First off - you are going to be OK. Yes, it really sucks right now, but he is just Guy. You have come so far in your life to throw it all away for a man. It is normal to be sad and think crazy things, like ending your life, when you are in a very bad spot, but it is NOT normal to be stuck in that mode for more than a few minutes. There were many times I wanted to just die, but I recognized that it was a time of severe emotional stress and I had to do whatever I had to do to survive it and be a strong parent for my kids . We don't have any other option. It is not our kids' fault that we screwed up our lives and now we are miserable. We owe it to them to get things on track.
2. Just because you BF said : " we are done forever" that means nothing. Months from now he may change his mind. Be wise - let him have his space. Whatever happened, your relationship wasn't good. It has to end.
It is possible that he is a complete ahole and you are much better off without him OR you have some big issues to solve and work on yourself before you can have a loving relationship, or a combination of both. Either way - if you are fighting and arguing, it is better for child not to see that.
I hope things go better for you.
You will get through this.
