I know I did mean things in my marriage out of being hurt by his actions. I feel he did to; but for him not to be in this house after making the decision to sleep on his mother couch for over two weeks now, is mind blowing. I keep asking myself, God what do you want for me tolearn from this. How can I accept what he's doing. He says he leaving me and never allowing a woman to control him ever again but he still comes here while I'm at work and keeps contact with my family. I don't have a relationship with his family, after being married to him 17 years with him. If he's leaving, why don't he just leave. Why do he continue to string me along, with coming back and forth to this house?

It seems like he is confused himself or is having a hard time fully letting go. When he comes over the house, do you guys have any communication?

Honestly, I think he's using you. He keeps coming back and forth because he doesn't have a better alternative ... yet. He is probably looking though and once he finds it ... either another woman or a place to live or whatever it is he is looking for ... he will leave. The important thing you have to realize though is that while he's playing games with you, he is NOT in control of the relationship. You have the right to accept what he's doing or reject it. You don't have to wait for him to make a decision. You can tell him right now that as far as you're concerned, it's over and then you can begin the process of healing.

So sorry for the stuff you are going through. He will always have some kind of relationship with your family unless they do not want one because you have been married. Do you have children together?

He is there keeping an eye on things, getting
His mail, getting his stuff maybe. My ex came
and went when i was not home we just did not
live together.

He was still paying 1/2 the bills And legally he
could have stayed there too Until the divorce
decree. He never did any harm so i had no just
Cause to keep him out.

During divorce it all comes down to a the financials
And children if you have any. My ex moved in with
his Mother and then his GF's slowly. HUGS

We have two children and we barely communicate. When we do communicate. He invalidate how I feel and tells me what I need to do to change relationship. I admit I can work on my anger and control issues. However, he manipulate the relationship, avoid problems, refuse to be accountable for any of the things he do to trigger a negative reaction from me.

Help guide you during this time.

Sounds like a stalemate going on, i was pretty
Much there its not a fun place. Alanon helped
Me just not my marriage. He was checked out
And refused to work on us.
