I just wanted to make a post about it, because I haven't encountered one little bit here.
I don't think you all understand how much it means to me to be able to come on this board and be treated like my relationship was just like a straight one, because it was. Everybody here understands that and it means more than you know.
I was bragging to my friends yesterday about the accepting nature of this community, and how I have been accepted with open arms.
The advice, encouragement and love I have received from this particular group has been more than I could ask for.
I just wanted to say again how much it means to treat someone normally even though they may be different. You all do it without thinking twice, but you should remember to give yourselves pats on the backs more for being such open, loving individuals.

Define different. Everyone is different in different ways. Someone's sexual preference, religion, gender preference, etc, is who they are. Just because it may not be the largest percentage of the population doesn't make it right or wrong or necessarily even different. It just is what it is.
We all need support--that's why we're here--and I'm glad you're finding what you need here. :)
