I was watching an episode of Stargate SG-1 with my son tonight when one of the characters made a statement that resonated with me. I hope, with help, to take it to heart.
"You can't second-guess yourself. You can't remake the past, so you must focus on the future, or else you will be left behind." My interpretation - Left behind permanently stuck in that past that you can't remake.

and my favorite 'our reaction to a situation literally has the power to change the situation itself, I have those all posted so if you want to know authors they're posted in my photos, I love a good quote but i'm not gonna lie.. I think Ald's 'Karma is the bitch you end up with' may have just hit my top 5! :)
That one makes me laugh, then I read something like this to keep the good feelings going;
"Find a place inside where there is joy and the joy will burn out the pain"
or
"Your life is a result of the choices you make...if you don't like your life it is time to start making better choices"
then follow it back up with something funny;
"What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.....except for bears, bears will fucking kill you."
