It's got excellent information about how to take care of yourself and explaining what's happening to you during a breakup.
I also like to think of it as moving through rather than moving on. There is no avoiding the grief. There is no talking yourself out of it. You've been shattered and that has to be honored. Treat yourself with more kindness than you ever have before. Let yourself cry and hurt, and also do things that show real self-care and love. Try not to isolate yourself. Educate yourself on all the ways to deal with this that are healthy.
Remember that you are worthwhile. You are worthy of love and respect.
Try and stay busy, take care of you. Counseling will help a lot. Read self help books and most of all, come to this site often, there are plenty of us here to listen to you, advice and share our experience with you. Be the best dad you can be and spend as much time as you can with your son, he will need you right now!!!!
Again, I'm truly sorry for your pain, nothing compares to it.
Hugs!
