With the girlfriend, to his brothers house for a family party. I HATE this! I really only hate the fact that SHE is going. It irks me to no end! He says they will not sleep in the same bed together with the kids there...Thank God, but it still, deep down, pisses me off!!

I want to be the bigger person and just let it go, and I will, but that doesnt mean it doesnt bother me.

So, please send me good thoughts and slaps on the back for a job well done keeping my mouth shut!

Thank GOD I have this place to vent. No one else would understand! I really feel like throwing something, or someone!! Pounding my fists into something, or again, someone:) Jumping up and down doing the temper tantrum!

I know how you feel. When my stbx first left I did not want my son around them together. It really upset me but it got easier with time. You are the bigger person you deserve a pat on the back.

I'm feelin' ya!!! My babies were with their father last night and when I called to say "good night", my oldest said her name and daughter's name were spending the night (she's not even divorced yet)! It feels like such a slap in the face, but keeping quiet is soooo hard! What ultimately keeps me quiet is my kids as I don't want it to backfire on them. You're doing a great job! Just keep your level of integrity high - it speaks volumes!

It's difficult to know that they are spending time with the ow without having your kids exposed to that too.

So sorry. Like the others say, vent here and be the bigger person.

Funny thing is...If I really think about it, I know she will be miserable with him if she isnt already. He actually told us in counseling that he is a cold hearted SOB and hinted that she knows this about him.

SO, I can laugh at her for being the fool for staying with him.

I just hate her being with the kids.

{{Diemjs}} I don't know that I would have your strength. I made it clear to my STBX that the gf was not to be around my daughter (she's 9)during our separation. She's a smart kid, and no matter how "sanitized" the situation was, she would definitely pick up on what was going on. If and after divorce, whole other story, obviously.

Update: Dont know why and maybe someone out there can explain it to me, BUT... He came and picked up the kids and I found out his parents are going along, too! In the car with them all. Oh yeah, and the dog!

Why does this make me feel better? Knowing the parents are going makes me think the trip isnt "theirs" but they have to share it? Is that it? I wonder and any input would be nice.
