When my ex got remarried (it's only number 2 hahaha) I wasn't "sad" or"upset" he got married, but the fact he hid it from me and my son for three months so he "didn't ruin our holiday" peeved me, big time. I said, "Dude, come on, I don't think as highly of you as you do yourself. But, thanks for another monumental thing I have to explain to our kid after the fact. You're aces!"

I find it interesting how much they think we actually DO care...and the only thing I can surmise is that they haven't grown, or do they realize that others can actually survive, and thrive, without them.

I say good for you for not letting it bug you...the only thing that would bug me if my ex was onto number 7 is having to, yet again, explain the revolving door of women to my kid.

Otherwise, thank god they all find each other and can keep one another occupied :)

Besides, they've already discussed it not two months into their relationship and I know full well she will be expecting him to marry her. Its good you feel nothing about his new marriage. Mine married too and she's wife #3. I don't think she knows about the first wife. I lasted longer than the first wife and probably longer than this third one. Time will tell on this one.

Unless he married her again after our divorce she's not legal. He forgot to divorce me before he married #3. I had to file for the divorce.

We don't have children together so that makes things easier. I probably would have never known (nor cared) that he was married had the co-workers not told me. I am really trying to get people to understand that I have no connection to my ex and don't need to be updated on his life.

She probably has no clue that she is wife #7 (heck I didn't know I was wife #6 until my lawyer told me during the divorce process). I would imagine she thinks she is #4....as she knows his children are by two different wives and of course she knew about me...and bragged to the world ( via Facebook and Twitter) about how she was going to take him from me. Congratulations... Your consultation prize is a man who has now been married 7 times...and I am sure it won't be his last!

Wow your post sounds like my experience. Mine was onto no.5. He was divorced when I met him. So I thought well he had some experience in marriage which might come in good stead. However while with me he married two others under Islamic law only for me to find out afterwards. One was very brief few months and the other stretched out over many years even though she was based on another continent. He made his annual two week visits. That ended maybe two years. And with a tsunami ours ended after 28 years and he married someone just a few months older than our son. Over the years I had become immuned to his doings and like our daughter says nothing he does surprises us anymore.
Ald I am so glad you are sounding so strong. I too don't care a hoot about him and was also told maybe two months later by someone else. To be honest all I need now is a good budget to buy his share of our house and just to enjoy each day as it comes.

My STBX (yeah, divorce paperwork still hasn't arrived so it's not 'legal' yet) is engaged to 'her' though actually she's the one that gave him a ring and did the asking. Charming of both of them to not even bother waiting for the divorce to be legal. It would amuse me if they were just that tactless and clueless to actually try to get married before the paperwork was signed. Serve them right if the legal system had to go after them for being morons. :p

I once had a boyfriend like that after we split he met someone and married her get this 3 months later, lmao I feel sorry for her boy was he a piece of work lol mabey i should have sent her a sympathey card and him a thank you card for getting out of my life lol

i'm sure my stbx will move on as soon as possible. he was soliciting multiple women daily, looking for hook ups, through private messages on FB within 1-2 days of our separation. he can't remarry until our divorce is final. but i'm sure as soon as he finds someone he can latch on to, he will. your perspective is great ALD, i would be really annoyed w my co-workers too, that's weird behavior on their part. big hugs.
