Tonight I found out that the chick that was at the sporting events my ex is trying to hook up with her. He kicked me to the curb for a 22 year old and he's 45. What is wrong with me?

Were you two in a committed, exclusive relationship? You say you were in a sexual relationship, but what were the conditions and/or mutually agreed upon expectations of your relationship?

When we first started talking I guess he was talking to a girl. I told him I didn't want to be apart of that and didn't want to come in between that. he asked me over on a Friday night and then asked for a rain check BC this girl he was talking to wanted to talk to him in person well come to find out she was only using him to get back at someone so that's when he asked me over. At the beginning it was great would ask me if I need anything special etc. He told me thought of me all the time. We would texted all day every day. I would always give him a hard time jokely about him having side chicks and he would always tell me not everyone thought of him the way I did. So I guess it was never really discussed.

So you knew he had "chicks on the side", you didn't discuss the status of your relationship or your expectations. You had consensual sex with a guy you were "dating".

IMHO, the sooner you realize it was just about sex (for both of you, since you didn't press for any exclusivity), the better you will be. Nothing is wrong with you. And nothing is wrong with him. He was screwing you and now he wants to screw someone else. Happens all the time.

I didn't know he had "side chick's" I would just always give him a hard time about it. It was like a Lil joke.
I guess after 9 months of being with him I started to have feelings for him and guess thought when he was ready for a relationship he would give me a chance first.
