I'm sorry he's being a fucktard. Hugs!
I love my Daddy.... but he can still hurt me (unintentionally) Probably because I hold him up in such high regard, he is supposed to be the one we (daughters) turn to and for him to snub his own daughter when she needs him makes him a complete ass!
This guy sounds like a real piece of work.
As far as him letting her use his car I don't think he would have let her, also if she took him to the airport it might have come out where he really was going, because we know it was not where he said.
Both my kids know him and really don't expect much from him, but like I said, and everyone else said it still hurts. I know both kids, my daughter more then my son even though she won't admit it, really wishes he could be a father, and not someone who can't be bothered. It doesnt matter that to him he thinks he is doing nothing wrong ,and thinks that its just the kids that they should come to him. On fathers day when my son called to wish him a happy fathers day he didnt even ask my son to do anything with him. When I called him on his behavior, because that was not the only thing he messed up that week, he also never showed up for the ceremony when my daughter was getting an scholarship award saying he fell asleep. Anyway he blamed the kids that they did not get together with him on fathers day. I know because in my marriage he was not one to except blame, it was and is never his fault. Its sad when your own kid tells you that you should never have married him, and when I tell her that I would never have my kids which are the best things in my life, and she turns to you and says well you would not have know that. I do tell her that I dont care, her brother and her are the best, and I cant regret getting married because of that.
Anyway all I can do is give my kids my love and let them know that they are the best and because they really are.
My son just says to me when ever his father forgets when he is suppose to do anything with him, and I try to make it better for him he tells me that's just Dad. So at least he knows it has nothing to do with him.
He was wrong, my daughter was so hurt that her father didn't share that day with the family.
