Thank you. Honestly I encouraged him to seek out other women towards the end because I knew it would make my leaving easier. He did but I don't think it made things easier. Or maybe it did. I don't even know. Or really care. I'm out my daughter is out and to me that's what is most important. I'm actually more worried for his future girlfriends (I know he won't be able to afford another wife lol) because he's harbouring so major issues that he refuses to seek help for. And of course I worry about our child being exposed to another toxic relationship that I can't protect her from. Having children makes it oh so much worse. All I can do is continue open communication with her. Age appropriate of course and she's only two now so we don't discuss it but I do not want her ever to go through this. One foot in front of the other. One day at a time.

I too had to allow my ex to take the kids his Sunday. It's been rough! Since he is feeling my little ones head with his new wife of which he's been together with for less than one year.
He has my little ones calling her "Mom" like I don't exist.

We've been divorce a year now and he still interrupts my day. Like u Stephanie, I did everything to make his world perfect. And forgot about me.

I hate days when I feel like this. Even though, I know he was not the right one for me. I would not get back with him for anything in the world, except for the safety of my children.
Luckily, my eldest understands who her father is. Unfortunately, I hope she doesn't make the same mistake that I did in marrying a narcissist.

Phoenix, that's B.S. they're allowing young children to call another woman mom. I'm so sorry. I don't know how I'd handle that as I wouldn't want to upset my child and would like her to have a good relationship with anyone in her dad's life but that is straight up disrespectful. Also I've been doing some reading and I think I married a narcissist as well. For some reason that makes it easier knowing I had no chance in making it work and that I just had to get out. It's always hard to see an ex boyfriend or husband, especially if you are forced to meet. Sounds to me like you like guys attention. I have the same probably. I like that feeling that you make other people feel incredible just by how you look. But what will help meeting him is if you move on and find someone else. I know you have a daughter, but what is most important right now is you, and maybe look for someone else. Because she may say that she doesn't want another dad, but kids tend to grow up to love their step dads if you find them early enough.

RainbowSparkle that's terrible advice lol I'd never replace her dad and I'm already dating, my daughter is two so she hasn't said anything lol and getting under someone just to get over someone is not my style. I have more respect for myself and you should too. I'm not big on attention but my ex constantly told me I was a fat wh*re, a dumb b1tch, looked like sh1t, I could go on and on... also I probably did look like crap when I was with him because I was miserable. Have now had several people (who know nothing about the situation with him) tell me how great I look. I'm sure it's the energy I'm giving off as it's definitely changed for the better. And it's not hard at all to see him I just wish he'd fall of the planet because he's a terrible person who I'd never wish on another woman. Ever.
