I can relate except for the affair. I too am new and just looking for support to get me they each day. I’ve been Matt 17 years and 4 kids and he moved in with his parents 3 weeks ago and it’s been an emotional hell. We be had problems for years but always seemed to manage thru until he finally told me he’s not in love with me anymore. He was going to stay for kids in a “ co parent situation “ but was too hard and I am the one that told him to leave but now he won’t come back or work on the marriage. I am praying for you and I know the pain you are going thru. It’s like grieving a death.

I think it’s worse than grieving a death, they’re still present in your life if you have children as a constant reminder of the hurt, pain, and loss. When someone dies, you have memories not a physical element to remind you of your loss. I am losing my best friend and husband all at the same time. We both made poor choices, we both hurt each other, and we also had a choice in it all. I can’t breath anymore. I can’t eat, I’ve lost 6lbs in a week. I can barely get out of bed, let alone function at work. The only saving grace is my oldest son is home

You are not alone MDNM26!! I am feeling same way. I too can not eat. And you are right it is worse than grieving death. I am here for you. My husband and I hurt each other too although he puts all the blame on me as mine were a bit more obvious. You aren’t alone and I hope you gets some moments of peace soon

It is rough, for I am going through the same. I left my husband after 10 years of marriage because he was having an affair and the moment I moved out she moved in. Each day will be different. Some days I feel like i am queen of the world and other days I feel like dirt and that the world would be better off without me. I have gone through the not eating stage and now I am back at it again. It is rough to not motiviate yourself to get out of bed, or to eat, especially knowing he/she is happy with someone else. It does take time. If you need anything or anyone to talk to i am just a message away ♡♡♡

My favorite verse for times like these is "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." One of the things that going through such pain and overcoming with God's help is that we learn that we can endure anything this world throws at us because God will-and can-get us through. I want to give your encouragement-I thought I would die. Today, I am a solid, joyful, emotionally more secure person that I was before my husband's unfaithfulness. You are going to make it through this with His help. Praying for emotional peace to come soon.

I agree with want a couple of others as stated above death of a marriage is so much worse than actual day when they die and you put them in the ground you know where they're at and you know generally anyways they didn't have a choice in leaving you. The death of a marriage or relationship knowing that they willingly left you and it from time to time you get to run into the living ghost of your past life with hopes and dreams it is absolutely excruciating. The Whole World's been ripped out from under you and you honestly think you're going to die and you will go through the five steps of agree just exactly like you would if it was a real death. And you might hit rock bottom. Let me tell you that's where I'm at right now my divorce is final a month ago and it's looking like I'm about to be homeless. But you know what I'm picking myself up and dusting myself off and I will land on my feet. He filed for divorce. This time last year I'll fought it tooth and nail every step of the way and it still hurts but it don't hurt like you're hurting right now like it did when I was where you're at I don't want to be homeless but I think it's the best thing for me to get out of our house because I'm surrounded with numerals surrounded by the ghost of the life that we were supposed to have and it was hindering me from moving on you'll find your strength just don't let his affair from you better and Petty. So why are you dragging other people into the situation just to one-up him that's only going to hurt for other people and make you look like a fool he's the idiot he cheated not you he threw y'all's marriage away. You will breathe again you will smile again it's just going to take some time you got this and God has you
