Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
I have learned to use these moments as positive opportunities to learn and grow when they present themselves.
You already know why you are bothered by it--admit it, embrace it, accept it. You may be able to change the situation or you may be able to change how you react. Either way you should feel better.
((((HUGS))))
You are away from that now, but of course, it will always stir up that tingle.
maybe you haven't filled that space yet where he was. when our exes leave, there is a hole to fill. we have to fill it up with something or someone good for us.
it is so easy to just look back all of the time when we look forward and are scared or just feel inept. we all do it to one degree or another. but, sooner or later, we have to dream new dreams and come up with new goals and a plan.
and I think (as Patti had said to me at the time) it was really the last door slamming shut
and all those doors hurt when they slam shut
even if we're better off for them slamming
be aware of it, accept it, feel it, let it go when you're ready
you won't feel this way soon enough
Just keep concentrating on you and working on yourself and what you want in your future relationship. It will happen when you least expect it. You are going to be fine!
