I decided late last night to take a short trip with my son to a trade show in Los Angelas. My hope is that the time away from the office will help with my pain in my heart.

Please pray for me to not worry or miss being home or even think of Cory and the drama back home. I just want to be at peace for a few days!

I love getting messages from my friends here as it helps fill the void in my heart! I wish I could meet each of you as you have stuck by me through this tough time...

There was a few times I rented a cabin in the woods. Peace and quite for a few days to just relax is wonderful.

Enjoy Los Angeles, save some time to go to Santa Monica, walk around Venice Beach - and if you get a chance take a day and take him to Disneyland!!!

Make every moment count, bring memories home from the trip, like a memento, photos of both of you (don't be shy, ask people to take them - waiter in the restaurant, offer to take picture from another couple and ask in return that they take pictures of both of you).

You son may not like it at first but he will always have something tangible to remember that you both had a great time.

Enjoy the trade show and most of all, your clear mind. We will be here when you return.

You know that has always worked for me..I'd go camping for about two weeks..Hang out in a hammock and think of all the reasons this person was not right for me..and come back refreshed and stronger knowing I far deserved better..and that the person whom cheated on me was not worth my love at all..
You are a good hearted guy, not to mention rather good looking..and I am sure your son is adorable....You deserve far better than that...wishing you some fun quality times with your son..
