funny child advice after a break up

My sister just broke up with her boyfriend of two years (only boyfriend she's ever had). Anyway, I told my six year old, I was going to see Auntie for a girl's night cuz she was kind of sad.
He asked why, I replied, Auntie and her boyfriend broke up. He looks up at me, so serious, and says, "maybe auntie should find another boy that looks a lot like him?" "Then she might feel better!" Maybe I think it is so cute cuz he's mine, but just wondering if anyone else, has cute kid stories to share. They always make me smile!

I have a cute one that happened this weekend. I was at my best friends house and talking about how i'm glad that i left but scared too. And i was saying that I hope I love again. My friend's 7 yr old daughter says .."maybe you should try eharmony--they find good matches for people" It made me laugh... soooo cute.

When I first got onto DS, I was writing a journal entry and crying my eyes out. My 7 year old son entered into the office (where the computer is) and I quickly wipe away my tears. My son says, "Mom, Gods says that 'no man knows when the end of time is'". I said, "Yeah". Connor says, "Well, he doesn't say ANYTHING about GIRLS. I smile and say, "Okay."
"They also say that 'time waits for no man'. They don't say ANYTHING about GIRLS!" I smile at him. He leans on the desk and says, "Well....it seems to me that GIRLS KICK BUTT!"
I LAUGHED and hugged him and said, "How'd you know I needed to hear that?" to which he replied, "You looked like you could use some cheering up."

In the beginning of my nightmare I could not control the crying in front of my kids. My two kids would come and sit on my lap and tell me how they would never leave me. I figured that much, they were 3 and 6 at the time. Gotta love them. Today my 4 year old will tell me she loves me out of the blue. Sometimes up to many times a day. I guess I emphasized that a lot after the split.
