i thought that I was only divorcing my husband but it feels like I divorced my life as I knew it. I feel that divorcing my ex was best because we were very toxic together and to our family. But after the divorce, my family and friends seemed to divorce me too. I mean life long friends and close family members are no longer in my life and it really does hurt because I really don't know why. I thought that it was me so I tried putting myself out there for them but it's life I became toxic to them as if my divorce would rub off on them. Most of my friends are married and since they seem not to want me around I have found myself to be by myself and because I really don't have any single friends. I just needed a place to express my frustrations

Know if i would go that far but there is a lot of hurt
And pain there as they chose sides or go neutral or
Just Want to stay out of it and just stay away.
I try to have Compassion because we have all been
on the other Side of that coin ourselves and until you
walk in those Shoes you have no idea what its like.
I have people i knew for 30 years barely A nod and
definitely will not ask how i am doing. It amazes me.
Others will ask that aren't close or so inter connected
To him or to his family. Its like a wall that was put up
and XMIL just loves My ex's new GF :) HUGS
