Just reaching out for some hugs and words of encouragement as I will be officially divorced tomorrow morning. Having very mixed emotions this evening. Feeling sad of course, but then a little relieved that this part of the whole ordeal is almost over. I keep saying to myself that tomorrow is a brand new start...but then again how many times have I told myself that and moved a step or two backwards instead of forward.

I know it is going to be a tough night tonight and tomorrow!!!

I don't want to say I'm envious because it is such a tough road to go down, but I am a little envious. I've been at my divorce proceedings for 1-1/2 years now, and it's still not over. I'm looking forward to the closure I need to begin a new life. Limbo sucks. I imagine, like you, I'll be sad. Go ahead and have good cry; get it out. It is the end of the life you had planned for yourself. It's OK to be sad. Just know that you have an entirely new future to begin planning for yourself, and you won't have to wait any longer to make it all happen. Hugs.

Your divorce hearing is a step forward in your life. Hopefully it will close this chapter in your life and allow you to open many more wonderful chapters in your life that are of happiness, great things you do in your life, and a chapter of freedom from this whole mess called separation and divorce. Oh, the very best of luck to you tomorrow. Mine's so far away yet that I'm not even thinking that far (heck, I can barely manage to project ahead to next week yet much less 6 months+ into the future LOL). I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers tonight and tomorrow.

I do think it's a step forward though, a sort of closure that at least this one thing will be done, over and finally resolved.

Feeling - our divorce process only lasted 3 months. He was anxious to get it finalized so he can marry is mistress. Only good thing about that is I got everything... And more!
