Hello Everyone, 

I wanted to start off by saying this is my first time joining a support group and I am open to advise and as much guidance as I can get. I apologize in advance if my story is long... Ok here I go ... I'm trying to figure out the right way to get my ex back and put it in a way that she feel it's natural - I was with my ex for four years and engaged for a year and a half about 3 months ago she ended our relationship saying she wasn't happy and didn't trust me. When we (my current ex) first start dating I reached out to my previous ex and told her I missed her but she was someone I was with for over 5 years and I was a bit confused which I understand now that isn't an excuse, but my now current ex the one I want to get back would throw my previous ex in my face time and time again... Another problem we had was that I wasn't super affectionate like she was but I would ask for her to tell me what I was doing wrong and to help me learn how to love in her language but it seemed like when I asked she didn't put the effort or maybe I wasn't understanding so it became a fight over and over again. After all of this she proposed to be but the issues still were there and real.  Long story short I made my mistakes I was selfish in not giving my all and just simply showing her she was loved which isn't a lot to ask. It's been 3 months I'm im in therapy working on myself first for myself and second to show her I let all of my past go and I am a good women - we recently went on a few dates and we both stated it felt nature and it was like a weight was lifted but now she tells me her feeling arent there because she is hurt and still thinks of the hurt I put her through and maybe she can get the spark back but she needs time to work on herself. She tells me she "I love you" and let's see what the future holds but she need space then I just start to think negative. I am not trying to rush into a relationship with her because we did that the first go around but I want to be in her life and not lose her to another women so I'm not sure what to do. One minute she so lovely and talking about future goals then the next she is cold and saying she needs space. Please help me I don't want her to push me away or for her to think I'm being super clingy but I want her to know I'm still fighting for our love. Please help!!!

My ex informed me there was a girl she was talking to who was just a rebound (she stayed she needed someone to help her not think of me but it didn't work because all she thinks is about me).When we went on our date she informed me she cut her off completely and I did not need to worry about her but now I'm feeling super insecure because during our date she was letting me hold her phone to see photos and as she was scrolling to show me pictures a photo came up of her and the rebound girl - she didn't hide the phone from me she look very sincere and stated baby I'm so sorry that should have been deleted. Now I wonder all the time if she is with her.. I want to trust her word because she said she was done with the rebound girl but I need some guidance Im learning now how she felt....
