To me, it just makes things more complicated, and harder having to deal with him.
(Now, I have to say that I LMAO when I read what showed up as the title to this thread- "Falling off the face of.." I was going to say "I always put my hands on the wall so I stay on..."
LOL
I'm going through the last year of my checking account to answer the latest from his lawyer, whom he could afford to hire recently, to take me back to court again, since he was thrown out in March, to get his support reduced, which he is again almost 15 grand behind on.
On top of it all I can't do simple arithmetic.
So yeah MINE TOO!
Truth is, I felt HATE and nothing more for a while, it nearly destroyed me. Hell, I even wanted to fight extra hard for my children to insure she wouldn't see them. At a time, I wanted her to get a serious STD or to be hurt in some terrible wreck.
That is some EVIL stuff right there.
But I came out of it. What I started to think about was how unfair it would be to the children. So I decided to continue to love the memory of the person who hurt me.
Yes, I forgive the pain that was caused and I still remember the pain but I forgave nonetheless. I can't wish or try to take away from a person that has done so much evil to me.
Believe you me, it has nothing to do with karma either. It has to do with what's right. I feel more content knowing that there isn't much more she can do to me without hurting herself.
People who enjoy and don't bother to witness the extent of their own actions usually end up reliving their own mistakes and that's so much more painful than having a hand in their pain.
If we choose to hurt them for that quick self gratification then we are no better than they are. I choose to live in my heart surrounded by kindness, not because I'm weak or a punk but because when all is said and done, I'm still standing upright while others are struggling just to crawl. Thank God for the love He showed me.
Thats all. No revenge, no karma, just go away.
For my son: I am happy he is not that guy and will always be there for him - to an annoying point. I hate that I only get my son 3 nights one week and 4 the next. It kills me not to see him but to fight is fruitless. I know a California court would award him 50% so there is no point. he is a good dad and I am glad for my son's sake........but god for my sake it would be so much easier if he was a deadbeat........I MISS MY KID.
God Bless!!
