ex threatened and bluffed to keep me from seing my

last weekend my ex got pissed at me and threatened to prevent me from seeing my son. i read her the riot act and told her as long as i am finacially helping and seeing my boy she has no right to do that. i knew she was bluffing but just in case i am seeking legal advice monday. she did not like a post on facebook so she played it up. i visited my son this past weekend and she did not bring it up. its all about control and im thinking of erasing her off my facebook page.

I don't do facebook, and honestly, I don't get why there is always so much drama with FB. So, erasing her, to me, doesn't seem like a big deal.

I'm glad you're seeking legal advice. People who use kids as pawns are sorry ass people...parents should put the kid first.

Do you have legal visitation? If not, I would go for it.

I would definitely take her off Facebook. No need for her to be on yours. I'd be careful of anything you post as well. Judges are hard to predict and she sounds like she could be vindictive as well.
I don't get the Facebook attraction either ( even though I have an account ). Seems boring and drama filled. Anyway, I'll get off my soap box.

Actually she can't stop you financial support or not.

Agree with the others, using kids is disgusting, if she put that I writing like on FB print it out,the delete and block her. Get legal advice ASAP.

People never realize that preventing a child from seeing their own parent hurts the child more than who you actually intended to hurt. I would actually block her on Facebook if it was me. Depending on how long you have separated with her she could be bluffing and just acting up because of the situation, fact that she is no longer center of your attraction could also be the reason, give her some time too but if she really keeps doing funny thing take the legal route

Hi terrondt: I take threats seriously because she felt it important enough to use it then and will probably drag it out at other times too. Block her off your Facebook right away--and remember, she earned being blocked by threatening you because of you posting on your Facebook..

I want you to remember that social media like Facebook can be viewed by not just your ex, but also future employers, so say nothing on there that may not look good to a future employer or won't look good in a court room.

Also, it is time to block her from Facebook, but if she is following you, she will have one of her friends "friend" you so she can keep an eye on you. Knowing that she is so desperate and in a way is "stalking" you, is it really important to keep Facebook going at all?? There are other mediums you could use.

I agree with seeing a lawyer because this is not okay. I would have him prepare a letter to her about the incident so it is in writing from your attorney to her. You can use that in court should she continue any further.
