Yikes... my guess is he is playing games or is really confused himself. They generally don't know what they want at that age.. (assuming he also is 16?)

i would tell him to mind his own business. you two are over with, broken up, history.... so maybe it's best you just leave it at that, history.

my ex (when we were still speaking) tried prying into me like that and that's why i don't speak to him anymore (or any of my exes for that matter)..... i really don't like drama. there's no need for it to disrupt your life.
unless there's kids involved, there's no reason to keep in touch with historic partners. that's just asking for trouble if you ask me. close out those chapters of your life and get on with things. there are more important things to focus on. just my 2 cents.
