I get confused. My ex dislikes me most of the time, now he's being some what nice.
I don't know if it has something to do with my best friend telling me she no longer wants nothing to do with me, or his and my family telling him I have never said one word against him in the past 5 years, of which I've said plenty to close friends, and he's said plenty to everyone (it gets back to me).
The man I'm dating, is still married. He doesn't want to be, has tried 4 times, but it all comes down to our state law of 50/50 in custody and money. She doesn't work, does not want to work, and will not share their son. He told her when she first asked for divorce that he was in love with someone else, she replied good.
Anyway, my ex knows my boyfriend, I've known him almost 30 years, and dated him in college. He knows where he lives and where he works. He also knows about his failed attempts at divorce. He could have told his wife, but never would because he sees how much he does so much for me, that he couldn't.
So, with this BFF thing, my ex and family are on my side. My ex informed me that she was going to visit my boyfriend's wife, and give her all the details. My ex wanted me to know, if she follows through, he wasn't any part of it.
My ex also informed me that she told him that my boyfriend and her hooked up during hunting season. I know they planned to meet at a bar, he was with his hunting buddies, but she never showed. He called me from the bar. What I don't get, they never liked each other, so why now?
I knew about the whole thing when it happened, my boyfriend told me. Why my ex felt he had to tell me after 3 yrs is strange. Maybe my friend just finally derailed, and my ex is realizing it was she who started the conflict in our marriage.

The minute my family met him, I was sent a document for him to sign, the same thing my ex had to sign, saying they have no claim to any property. He refused to sign, and my family is warming up to him.
Drama is all around me. I volunteer for Red Cross, and get sucked into places no one should be. Even came home with my puppy girl found wandering in a hurricane.
I have known him for 30 yrs, in all, we've dated 6 some years, he had reasons to be upset, never once seen him raise a hand to a women, or a child.
He recently had to sign some papers for his wife to take his son to Florida to visit her parents, and a summer trip to Mexico. My children, as minors, never had to this, and they went to Aftrica on mission trips, and various other trips for college visits. It just is odd.
I actually do know his wife. She wants nothing to do with him, except for him supporting her so she doesn't have to work. I have had to bite my tongue when she comments about him.
