Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.

One thing I've found helpful with dreams (good and bad) is to remember that after a few hours their sharpness wears off. They're so vivid initially but they do dull and fade pretty quickly. Then I remind myself that even how terribly I feel about the breakup right now will also eventually wear off in the same way (my ex is also now with a another woman).
I've also found it helpful to write down my dreams in as much detail as possible and to try to suss out what they mean about what my mind is trying to process. Even when I initially woke up from ex dreams feeling like I'd reconnected with him and missed him, when I broke the dreams down and really considered what was going on in them (how I felt, how he looked, who else was there, and when/where they took place), they'd actually pointed to a lot of problems in the relationship and things I didn't necessarily want to go back to (which is something I never thought I'd say..). A cuddling dream might be one to skip trying this on.. probably best to let that fade without clinging to it, but it might be worth a go if you keep having them?
I hope this helps and all the best.
