Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
You really need to see a counselor and let them help you get to a good place, not so you can get your kids back but just because you are a human being who deserves to be respected and has the right to say no to abuse. You are likely to continue making the same mistakes about men unless you get help.
I'm sorry for the tremendous amounts of abuse you've suffered. No one deserves that. It worries me that you spent so long with each of your abusers. You need a good therapist and some time to heal.
Focus on spending time with your grown children. Find a hobby, something you can really enjoy, that makes you happy and throw yourself into it. Try to visualize what kind of relationship you want for yourself in the future. Plan in advance how you will handle the red flags when they come up. Keep doing what you're doing. I wish nothing but good things for you!
