Do any of your walk-away Xs, get angry with you, I mean really angry? I use the term walk-away because she had the desire to leave me and the kids for a BF and quote live her life. Recently I discovered through angry phone messages and emails my X is upset about most evereything. I believe this may be due to the cold reception the kids give her or the fact the divorce settlement did not totally work out as she planned. I thought her BF would keep her happy all the time, apparently hes not doing the job, or maybe she's dissapointed in him and needs to release it on me. Regardless Ive found that I need to maintain my power within and not give it away due to her insanity.

I believe they are angry with themselves, my stbx has lashed out at me several times, really hateful and cold and I just look at him and say, I did not do this, take your anger out on someone else and then I walk away. They so much want everyone else to buy into their fantasy world and make it ok for them and for what they did, they need to feel justified and they get angry when they do not. Sad really on their part.!!!

Oh yeah my cheating jerk is mad at me all the time that he's being forced to pay his support. I just try to let it roll off but at times it really gets to me. I think they feel guilty and lash out to ease it.

Get this, he had the nerve to call me today and act all holier than thou and ask me to find out how late the child support office is open because he's "trying to work" and now he needs to go all the way there in the snow. From a man who hasn't paid in 3 months. Whatever, I told him, do what I do figure it out like a big boy. He said well do you want some money or not. I said whatever, I'm not your wife so call yourself.

my ex gets really mad with me. He was a bastard when he was drunk and still is. He's very nasty. He was never here sober in our marriage and was angry if he was hungover and angry that the kids made too much noise or the house was never clean enough or dinner was either too hot or too cold or too bland. I was lonely within our marriage and had a friendship with a few people on the net. One of which was a man, we became close friends. My ex is determined that I had an affair and ruined the marriage all by myself. He refuses to believe that his being an alcoholic had anything to do with the marriage breakdown and he is the one who left us. When he's sober he knows its just a friendship between me and this guy, but when he's drunk he's certain I had an affair and sends nasty sms messages and nasty phone calls. He doesnt get it, if he was here sober being a husband and a father, I wouldnt have been lonely enough to make friends on the net in the first place. But whatever, Im quite ok with it, I just say 'ok dear' and move on.

She got angry when I didn't do stuff for her, like file divorce paperwork fast enough, or do other tasks that were important for her. Of course, if I got mad at her, I was being a jerk. She was always right, though.

their anger is to hide the fact that they made a mistake leaving, and don't want to swallow that pride and admit it. ignore it i do.
