Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.

No, don't have contact unless it's specifically about your kids. I would think she needs some space and time apart, based on all you two have been going through. If she has friends coming over, there isn't much you can do about it. It seems to me she needs some space right now and if you can give her that space, she will be a much calmer person.
I think if you push she will be more pushed away... Seeing friends might be the support that she needs right now.... Sometimes what we fear we can create ya know
At the same time I agree that you should get a lawyer that will stand behind your interests
Big hug..... I don't think that this will be a quick fix.... Deep breaths..... You have a ton on your plate and your peer support is important.... If you need to go to NA along with SA.....xo
Yeah, I have gone through addiction and relapse after relapse. And I was also given very constructive advice from people with the same addiction (alcohol) who lived sober, clean and fulfilling lives. They suggested I have No Contact with alcohol, bars, liquor stores and my old drinking buddies.
Guess what? When I didn't meet up with my old drinking buddies in bars with alcohol, I didn't drink and I sure as hell didn't get drunk. When I didn't give into temptation (and yes, that was hard as hell at times, esp when I was feeling sorry for myself and the miserable mess of a life I had created), I didn't relapse.
I'm sorry you find my suggestion distasteful. Sometimes reality is distasteful.
