So I can choose to say I'm going to still live by life in a grand way in spite of what took place.
A year ago I went through the most devastating breakups in my life. And I felt so loss and depressed for a long time. After crying, get counseling venting my anger because of the betrayal. I said to myself you can stay down and die or you can get up and live. So live your life no matter your circumstances.
Use this time to be single and do you and find out what really matters to you. And love you because You are in a Permanent Relationship with YOU. You deserve to experience your own love.
This is just a season on your journey. Live your best life!
Trust me it does get better. You will learn a lot and you won't be the same. but you will become more confident if you learn to love yourself despite what someone else thinks.
It will get better. Time, and making new memories, will put this behind you. Avoid anything that triggers memories of your ex. Maybe learn a new skill, or plan a trip with friends, someplace new that your ex never visited. I think dating too soon makes us compare everyone to the ex, and in a way, makes us remember that person we're trying to forget.
