Negotiations, business dealings...its now that stage. And its disgusting..especially to have to 'deal' with a real shrewd ass like him.
Waiting to get this jerk out of my life--but have to get my financial interests secured before i can do it and he's playing it the way he knows how to: dirty. Can't believe we were married once; have had a child together!
While there is hardly any 'retribution' given by the legal system, I hope this low-life gets his due 'punishment' from Life.
I am so angry & hurt ; feel like a victim and want to scream out about the injustice --but right now, i just have to push these feelings aside and act business-like myself. Have to protect my self-interest., without getting emotional.

I hope that you do manage to hold it together and get a good "deal" for yourself and your child. It does seem sick that this is what life boils down to sometimes. But you have to play tough if he is!
I am sure somewhere, somehow, life will trip him up and pay him back for the way he has behaved, but please don't you worry about that. Just continue taking good care of you and let that wonderful woman that you are shine forth!!

I had a hell of a time getting rid of my ex after 24 years of marriage. All the games and crap that my ex was ALLOWED by the court system to put me through in a 5 year divorce is just sickening. The system doesn't care about the emotional part...so I had to rely on this group and my therapist to help me through that part.
I don't see any changes for our judicial system any time soon....so we just muddle through the best we can.
I've been divorced nearly 2 years now and I am so glad the proceedings are behind me....becuz I never (hopefully) have to deal with "Mr. Wonderful" again! I'm still cleaning up a few messes, but it is nothing like the divorce.
I'm so sorry that you and other good folks have to go through this horrible "business" transaction...it really sucks. Plz hang in there because I promise you...it does get better (((((((((((((((Hugs)))))))))))))))))

It took 18 agonizing months to get a good settlement from my lying, cheating X. It seems as if the longer the marriage and the more assets, the more difficult it is. But I hung in there and never lost sight of what I RIGHTFULLY DESERVED. Too many women fold under emotional pressure or just wanting to get it over with.
Hang in there.
